~New Stamps~

I absolutely LOVE this cat set from TAC! A couple of weeks ago we used this set to make a card at Claudia's, ever since I have wanted this stamp set. On Friday night Claudia had a surprise for me- and it was the cat set I had been wanting! Thanks Claudia, you're the best!

Here are a few stamps I have picked up the past couple of weeks from Michael's and Julie Jane Paper Company.

One week till Spring Break! My mom and brother are coming to visit!

Car Update-
Our insurance company is not making us wait the full 30 days to settle our theft claim. Our claim will be settled this week, at that time we will have to return the rental car. We are looking into getting a Honda Pilot.

Cards/Blog Candy/Car Update

This is the card we made at Claudia's last night. Claudia was hosting a Stampin' Up catalog party for her SU friend who lives in California. We used SU materials to make our card.

These are the cards we made at Claudia's last week using TAC products, I love the cat set. Lately I have been stapeling ribbon on my cards. I love the bird paper that we used on the Silly Bird card.

Blog Candy: I {heart} Papers and Sarah/Scrampin' Mama are giving away a $25 dollar gift certificate for their blog candy, go to Sarah's blog to enter.

Car Update: The school police were able to look at the sevaillance tape on a more powerful computer than what the school has. They looked at the footage frame by frame and were able to see who stole the car. The same day Paul's car was stolen another stolen car was found in the parking lot- right next to where Paul's car was parked. There were two men- a look out and the one who broke into the car. There have been six cars stolen in the last month from another LV valley high school. Hopefully they are not targeting our school now.

A not so lucky St. Patrick's Day

Tuesday/St. Patrick's Day was a district wide proficiency exam day for high school students. Even though we work at the same school Paul and I drive separately to school since he normally has after school rehearsals. I got home and was watching TV when Paul called and said that his car was not it the parking lot, someone stole his car. He called the police and was waiting for them to arrive. I drove back up to school to pick him up. The police came to the school and filled out a police report. Paul had one of his trumpets in the backseat and this particular trumpet is worth as much as the car if not more. On Wednesday we went to the Dean's office and looked at the surveillance tape. We looked at all of the viewpoints, the car was stolen at 11:11 am. One minute the car was there and the next minute it was gone, we could even see it drive out of the parking lot. Not once did we see anyone walk up to the car or struggle to get in. Our insurance issued us a rental car. We have to wait thirty days to see if the car is recovered. After thirty days our insurance will process the theft. We only have a couple of payments left before the car is paid off.

Happy St. Patty's Day- Goodluckabella

Here are the two cards I made for the stamp/card clubs I am in. On both cards I used Goodluckabella from Stamping Bella. I don't have a lot of St. Patty's Day stamps so when I saw this on I had to have it. I love how they turned out.

My friend Kristine sends me cat cartoons once in awhile- I just had to share this one!

Guitar & Sympathy Cards

Here are the two cards we made this month when Debi hosted stamp club. I really like the guitar card because it is different- however it was a little difficult to make, the strings would not stay put. I am glad we made a sympathy card- I never make sympathy cards, and this one was fast and easy.
